I have a mix 3/4 wolf/1/4 Malmute age 12 1/2 years that has hip degeneration with arthritis.
Her pain and hindquarter instability was to the point my vet suggested her being put down this fall.
Now we are talking about killing my best friend here.
I chose to try an alternative method first. In researching I discovered the ‘K-9 Liquid Health Glucosamine with Chondroitin and MSM’and purchased it.
Within a week, she was raising up from the floor un-assisted, urinating without wobbles and tremors, and a hoppie running gait in the fields, covering at least 1/4 to 1/2 mile per day.
At the time of this writing, she is raising normal, walking normal, running normal(tho slower than a younger dog) and no pain symptoms.In fact, she is back to her bossy, sassy mouth self! Love it!
My vet was amazed, and told me to keep doing what I am doing.
On a side note, she has 4 coats, and for 12 years has been in a 24/7 sluffing of hair. this has stopped, why I do not knnow, but she is not dropping her coat anymore and it is shiny and healthy.
I know she will not live forever, but she has a quality of life until her time comes.
