Arthritis Diagnosis

for severe knee pain I have tried tylenol, aleve and advil. Aleve seems to work best sometimes, sometimes tylenol. Are these really different types of pain reliever?

YES – THEY REALLY ARE DIFFERENT…IBUPROFEN (ADVIL) AND KATOPROPHIN (ALEEVE) ARE NSAIDS AND TYLENOL IS ACEDOMINAPHEN (SP?) SO THEY ARE DIFFERENT – I FIND TYLENOL GOOD FOR MUSCLE PAIN AND NSAIDS GOOD FOR HEADACHES AND ARTHRITIS…BUT NSAIDS ARE HARD ON YOUR STOMACHE SO GO EASY…

yes if you can not take asprin then you better not take ibuprofen and take tylonol because tylonol has no asprin in it . i can only take tylonol .
